We are seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at Blackwater. Reporting to the Tyre Bay Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of tyres on heavy mining equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies
- Remove, repair, and refit tyres on mining equipment as required
- Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust, and report to supervisor
- Initiate actions to prevent equipment non-conformance
- Identify and record equipment quality problems and provide solutions
- Work in accordance with the site's procedures
Skills and experience:
- Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21920
- Driver's License
- Surface mining experience on heavy mining equipment
- Current Coal medical & Standard 11
- Forklift, Working at Heights, and Confined Space Certificates (highly regarded)
