The Role

Join a welcoming team environment at Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre. We are seeking an Accredited Part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our local team, supported by a national AEP team. You will work with a strong membership base across Chronic Disease, NDIS, injury, surgical rehabilitation, and healthy population clients.

We adopt a patient-centred, outcome-based approach to clinical management. The successful candidate will assess and deliver tailored exercise interventions to help manage injuries or conditions. Our AEP team fosters strong local stakeholder relationships and referral pathways to support client outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Provide exercise intervention and education for individuals at risk of developing chronic conditions or injuries.
  2. Deliver clinical exercise prescriptions for clients with chronic or complex medical conditions and injuries.
  3. Offer health education, advice, and support to promote health and wellbeing.
  4. Develop and promote Exercise Physiology services within the Centre and the wider community.
  5. Facilitate group rehabilitation classes.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient rehabilitation.

The successful applicant must be or be eligible to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.
