Job Description: About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to provide quality care to clients in their own homes, supporting their independence and well-being within their communities.
This casual position offers shifts across all seven days, mainly during afternoons and nights, with occasional mornings.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Collaborating with the Home Care team to achieve optimal outcomes
- Organizing social outings and transportation
- Delivering in-home respite care following a Care Plan
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' health
- Building strong relationships with clients and families
Qualifications and skills required:
- Driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance (essential)
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (essential)
- Experience in Aged Care or Disability support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassion and empathy
