Sales Development Representative
Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid) | Full-time

We're growing fast, and we're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Melbourne team.

What you'll do:
  • Research, identify and qualify potential customers through multiple channels (referrals, online research, social media, industry events).

  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies including cold calling, email outreach and campaigns.

  • Build initial relationships with builders and contractors, understand their needs and highlight how Buildxact can help.

  • Qualify prospects and hand over warm leads to the Business Development team.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and RevOps to optimise campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and report regularly on pipeline activity.

  • Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase Buildxact's solutions.

  • Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape our strategy.

What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales (ideally SaaS or construction tech).

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Resilient, persistent and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.

  • Organised and proactive with excellent time-management skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or similar is a plus but not essential.
