Location: Sydney

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Azure Databricks to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data processing and analytics, particularly within the Azure Databricks environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze data and provide insights to support business strategies and decision making.
• Utilize Azure Databricks to develop data models and perform data analysis.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and its functionalities.
• Proven experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in SQL and data querying.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.
• Experience in working with cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on data analytics.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis or data analytics are a plus
