What you'll do
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You'll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure, improve system performance, and support our DevOps and CloudOps practices. This is a growth-focused position where you'll contribute, learn, and help drive operational excellence.
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable application infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Build and manage Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
Write maintainable, production-grade code in a modern programming language (such as Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin)
Apply CloudOps and SRE fundamentals, including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, golden signals, and progressive delivery, to real-world systems
Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues in distributed systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and HTTP/S protocols
Perform Linux system administration, including performance analysis, troubleshooting, and automation with shell tools
Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
What you'll bring
You are a collaborative team player, eager to learn, and proactive in seeking solutions and familiar with agile methodologies. You will also:
Strong foundation in software engineering, with experience writing maintainable, production-grade code in at least one modern language (ideally Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin)
Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
Understanding of core CloudOps/SRE concepts, such as SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, and golden signals, and experience applying them in real-world systems
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, HTTP/S) and adept at troubleshooting distributed systems
Collaborative team player, eager to learn, and proactive in seeking solutions.
