Are you a scheduling expert ready to lead complex, large-scale projects in a high-impact environment? We're seeking an experienced Senior Master Scheduler to join our client's team on one of their major initiatives. This is a contract position with an initial term of 12 months, with the potential for extension.

As a Senior Master Scheduler, you will serve as the scheduling subject matter expert for a major project. You'll develop, manage, and optimise project schedules, working closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders. You'll play a central role in ensuring scheduling best practices, evaluating schedule health, and proactively driving risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of complex project baseline schedules
Analyse schedules for risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Collaborate with stakeholders to create "what-if" scenarios and influence decisions
Develop schedule performance dashboards using Power BI and Excel
Conduct Time Impact Analysis and communicate schedule health
Lead project schedule meetings and standardise scheduling practices
Align schedules with cost loadings and stakeholder timelines
Create and maintain master schedules for project lifecycle

What You'll Bring

Expertise in critical path scheduling for IT infrastructure and networking projects
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and SSI tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and team collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and guide strategic decisions

Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field
Professional certifications such as PSP or PMP are highly desirable

Preferred Experience

Significant scheduling experience in IT infrastructure and networking
Skilled in forensic scheduling, earned value analysis, and time impact reviews
Experience in commercial and fast-paced project environments
Advanced reporting and data visualisation skills using Excel and Power BI
