Overview

Okta Threat Intelligence is the capability within Okta that delivers timely insights to customers that are both highly relevant and actionable, and that contribute to public conversations about the threat environment. Our vision for Okta Threat Intelligence is to drive further confidence in Okta's best-in-class security capabilities. It's also about demonstrating to the world that Okta is much more than an SSO or MFA provider: it's a company with an expanding range of Okta security products relevant to every security team. Our growing team now requires a communications professional dedicated to this practice.

The role includes:

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating a publishing schedule, working with stakeholders across the security team, communications teams, legal, marketing and go-to-market functions
  • Writing and editing threat advisories, blogs, social media content and presentations
  • Measuring the impact of these publications

The role may also require additional writing and coordination duties as required by the broader security team.

Qualifications
  • A passion for the cybersecurity domain, as demonstrated by previous published work, contributions to cyber security projects or completion of relevant training.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation design skills.
  • An ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity and discretion.
  • Project management skills and presenting skills are a bonus.
