About the role
As an Overnight Guest Service Agent, you will review financial reports, investigate anomalies, and report any discrepancies to the Front Office Manager, Night Manager, and Finance team. You will also review daily revenues against guest receipts and reports, investigating any anomalies. This role includes hotel reception duties, such as guest service, check-in/out, and assisting with guest inquiries. Specific responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests upon arrival and checking them in/out, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Balancing daily revenue and expense transactions, including cashier's checks, credit cards, debit cards, and other payments
- Assisting with night audit duties, such as reconciling accounts receivable, posting charges, and verifying billing accuracy
- Supporting the manager on duty during emergency situations
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a customer service role; hotel or accounting experience is highly regarded
- Pride in ensuring work accuracy and encouraging the same standard among team members
- Computer literacy, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work on a rotating roster
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Well-presented, organized, and calm personality
