About the role

Australian Weighing Equipment is seeking a skilled Mechanic / Hydraulic / Forklift Technician to join our specialist team in Ingleburn, NSW. This full-time role will see you providing expert technical services and maintenance support to our clients across the weighing industry.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair and maintain a range of industrial weighing equipment, including scales, balances and forklift scales

Perform scheduled servicing and calibration of weighing devices to ensure accuracy and compliance

Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues on weighing equipment

Carry out electrical and electronic repairs on weighing systems and components

Provide onsite support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and provide technical reports as required

What we're looking for

Qualifications in Mechanical, Hydraulic or Electrical Engineering or a related Trades discipline (desirable)

Proven experience as a Technician, Mechanic or Service Engineer in the weighing, industrial automation or similar industries

Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electronic components and circuitry (desirable)

Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics to identify and resolve equipment faults

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

Strong client service orientation and effective communication abilities

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
