About the Role:

2:2 Days/Nights roster - DIDO Residential or FIFO from Perth

  • Oversee and manage assets, including people, plant and equipment to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance and production.
  • Respond to maintenance requests.
  • Plan, coordinate and allocate resources to achieve monthly targets.
  • Conduct regular site and daily inspections within the worksite.
  • Order tools, supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Perform maintenance work as needed.
  • Work alongside management to resolve issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure the team follows all business and site policies and procedures.

About you:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic and Auto Electrician Trade Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years in leadership roles.
  • Extensive knowledge on Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar equipment.
  • Australian Working Rights.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Meet our pre-employment medical criteria (including drug and alcohol screening).
  • Professional, self-starter who has a proactive approach to getting the job done.

JL MCFADZEN DIESEL SERVICES provides specialised product support and maintenance on hydraulic excavators and shovels throughout most states and territories in Australia. Established in 2010, we continue to remain LTI free and provide the following services to various mining companies:

  • Specialist site support and field service for Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar excavator and shovel fleets.
  • In-house planning, scoping, and execution of all major shutdowns.
  • Excavator and shovel relocation.
  • Hydraulic tunes, pump flows, general maintenance, and all diagnostic repairs.
  • Hydraulic system and component failure analysis.
  • Powerpack and Motivator hire.
  • Machine recovery.
  • Specialised tooling hire.

We also carry out maintenance and diagnostics on all mining and construction machinery holding vendors with some of the leading companies in the mining industry.
