Job Opportunity: MRI Radiographer at Lumus Imaging

Lumus Imaging in the Northern region of Melbourne is seeking an MRI trained radiographer to join our friendly, professional MRI team at our Epping-based medical imaging departments. We have recently expanded and now serve one community site for outpatient examinations and two private hospitals, offering outpatient and inpatient work.

This full-time position is for an experienced technician to work primarily in MRI, with rotations through CT or X-ray, tailored to your interests and operational needs. MRI operational hours are between 7am – 8pm on weekdays, and 8am – 12pm on Saturdays. Currently, there is no MRI on-call requirement.

Our diverse examination range includes ortho, rheumatology, neuro, abdominal, and contrast studies. We operate GE 3T and Siemens 3T and 1.5T scanners, all wide bore with the latest deep learning technology, offering a chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous MRI radiography experience, with additional experience in CT and general X-ray preferred.
  • GE or Siemens experience is highly desirable; training will be provided if needed.
  • Proven commitment to patient care and customer service excellence.
  • Qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology (university or equivalent).
  • Current AHPRA registration and VIC radiation license.
  • Knowledge of relevant WHS practices.
