Customer Service Attendant

In this role, you'll:
Provide exceptional customer service and provide streamline experiences when assisting passengers with inquiries and connecting them to regional services.
Manage a broad range of day-to-day station operations as well as manage the station presentation, cleaning and general maintenance.
Work with our train crew and other stakeholders to ensure that all safety standards are met and manage any potential safety risks that may arise and impact staff and passengers.
Important note:The Customer Service Attendant position is Permanent Part-Time working a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight. You may be required to work a rotational roster where your location, days, start and finish times may vary based on business requirements.
You also may be required to work additional hours at short notice with the potential for overtime and work at other locations.
The full-time rate of pay for this position is $1241.50 per week, including the Industry Allowance.
As a part-time employee, you will be paid on a pro-rata basis calculated on your agreed hours of work. In addition, you will receive superannuation, and annual leave loading benefits up to 5 weeks annual leave.
Note: A Talent Pool will be created for current and future temporary and permanent, part-time and full-time positions for the next 18-month period in South Coast Region.

About you:
You are enthusiastic and have a passion to work within your local community; you want to be on the frontline and the first point of contact when our passengers arrive at the station.
You are resilient and have outstanding interpersonal skills to provide clear and accurate instructions and can manage difficult conversations with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.
You are confident and can problem solve and make prompt decisions under pressure whilst working alongside a variety of stakeholders in a safety focused operational environment.
Your own transport is beneficial as some shifts start out of train operating hours.
