The role will consist of but will not be limited to the following activities:

  • Experience using Microsoft Project for the scheduling of complex projects and programs of work (MS Project is accessed via Project Online).
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule that clearly articulates all project tasks, task owners, task dependencies, durations, key milestones, all key deliverables, and due dates.
  • Tracking the status of all tasks incorporated in the project schedule and identifying actions required to address tasks that have fallen behind schedule through liaising with team leads/managers, including vendor partners.
  • Assist in resource capacity planning across the project, using the MS Project Online capabilities.
  • Produce weekly progress curves using a recognized methodology e.g. Earned Value Analysis.
  • Experience and highly proficient in using MS Project to plan and maintain project schedules.
  • Minimum 2 years of large-scale IT project experience where you developed and managed the project schedule.
  • Experience with PMBOK/Prince 2 project management methodology (or similar).
  • Experience working within a large portfolio with many inter-project dependencies.
