About the Position

Are you a strategic leader who thrives on delivering real outcomes through digital transformation?

The City of Bayswater is seeking an innovative and inspiring leader to drive the development and implementation of digital solutions and services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation, inspiring and empowering a multidisciplinary team to deliver impactful outcomes. As a trusted advisor to the Director Corporate Services and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the City through bold innovation, agile thinking, and inclusive leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team that supports the business to achieve digital improvements and technology solutions, driving strategic direction and performance excellence.
  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership for key digital and IT projects, including ERP transformation, delivering timely and effective outcomes while championing innovation and change management.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the organisation, enabling service units to achieve business improvements through digital transformation and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Oversee all operational activities within the service unit, ensuring resource efficiency, financial accountability, compliance, and alignment with organisational goals and statutory requirements.
  • Be a key contributor to the City's Operational Management Team (OMT), influencing organisational direction and strategy.

This is a full time, 5 year fixed term contract opportunity.

About you

You have a passion for innovation and will encourage contemporary thinking to bring about leading-edge solutions, influencing and gaining support for change through the integration of people, systems, processes and culture. You will be able to demonstrate success in leading digital transformation and ERP projects and have a track record in delivering measurable outcomes and service excellence. You will bring proven leadership experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, with a strong ability to engage stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes. Your expertise in risk management, budgeting, and ensuring legislative compliance will be key to driving effective and accountable service delivery.
