Poolwerx Mt Gravatt Group is expanding. Following our recent acquisition of JC Pools, we're the largest and fastest-growing Poolwerx in the country. With a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and innovation, we operate multiple service vehicles and four retail stores across Brisbane's Inner Southeast.

Full-Time Permanent Position

Our Poolwerx Mount Gravatt Group operates four busy, contemporary retail outlets in Balmoral, Cannon Hill, Mt Gravatt, and Rochedale.

About our Retail Store Manager

Our Retail Store Managers are customer-service-focused, energetic, and passionate, working for a multi-award-winning organization.

Our training program equips our Retail Managers with skills to:

  • Oversee daily store operations
  • Train and develop casual retail assistants
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Conduct water testing and provide chemical & equipment advice
  • Manage stock control and merchandising
  • Handle store opening and cash procedures

Work hours are Tuesday to Saturday — no evening shifts

About You

We hire based on attitude, experience, and potential. You may have extensive pool industry experience or none at all. What matters is that you are:

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — you show up
  • Self-motivated and able to think on your feet/problem-solve
  • Highly organized and autonomous
  • Willing to learn, grow, and ask questions
