Position: Tax Accountant

Location: Brisbane Southside (close to public transport & parking)

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible for the right candidate)

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns, as well as assisting with BAS, compliance, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and lodgement of individual, trust, company, and SMSF tax returns
  • Preparation of BAS, FBT, and payroll compliance
  • Assisting clients with tax planning and advisory matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working closely with senior accountants and partner to deliver quality outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor of Accounting / Commerce (or similar)
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in public practice accounting
  • Sound knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
