Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centred resident care addressing medical, physical and emotional needs.
- Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals including nurses, carers and support staff.
- Oversee development and implementation of individual care plans for residents.
- Ensure proper administration and management of medications, following schedules and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians and involve them in care decisions where appropriate.
- Handle emergencies and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
- Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Australian Working Rights and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
