Position: Part-Time Senior English Secondary Teacher

Waverley Christian College is a culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kindergarten to Year 12, with campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South. We have been providing quality Christian education for over 45 years, with over 2400 students and 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

We are seeking a part-time senior English Secondary Teacher (FTE 0.67) at our Narre Warren South Campus, starting in Term 3. This is a 12-month parental leave replacement until October 2025.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to teach English and Humanities
  • Hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Have current First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certificates or be willing to obtain them prior to commencement
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
  • Be willing to participate in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities
  • Possess high-level communication and interpersonal skills
