Graduate Geotechnical Engineers at Westgold Resources will collect and control geotechnical data, develop engineering skills, and receive mentoring within a leading Australian gold mining company.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Participating in a 2-year program focused on the collection and control of geotechnical data.
  • Developing skills and understanding of all facets of Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Gaining both practical and office-based experience.
  • Receiving mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals.
  • Engaging with various teams to support geotechnical operations.
About you

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass Westgold\'s pre-employment process, including medical and drug and alcohol screening, right to work checks, and provision of valid documentation.
