Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Team Lead at Nepean Hospital. This is a temporary full-time position (up to 13/09/2026) with a classification of Pharmacist Grade 3, located at Nepean Hospital. The role supports the after-hours pharmacy service and reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy. Salary is $66.48 - $68.28 per hour, and the standard hours per week are 38.

Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital offering tertiary referral services across emergency care, cardiology, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatrics, neonatal care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery.
The Dispensary Team Lead will lead and manage the provision of pharmacy services, including after-hours operations, and will ensure safe, accurate and efficient distribution of medications across the hospital and affiliated institutions.
The successful candidate will oversee pharmacists, pharmacy interns, technicians, assistants and other support staff. The role includes supervisory and operational management responsibilities, drug distribution tasks, patient services, clinical duties and educational activities in designated areas, in alignment with departmental policies and procedures.

What You Will Bring To The Role- Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions on scope of practice
- Relevant clinical pharmacy experience and a motivation to further develop skills relevant to current practice
- Demonstrated teamwork orientation and ability to work independently

- Good verbal and written communication
- Good problem-solving abilities
