Full Job Description

For over 30 years this leading systems integrator and IT services company has been proving organisations across the region with dedicated, effective and reliable managed services and business process outsourcing solutions. With 1,000 + employees and growing, they are at the forefront of the Australian IT industry from a service and people perspective. As a result of growth they now require an experienced Public Sector Account Director.

Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying net new, large and complex ICT services deals over $10mil in size.

Key responsibilities will include:


• Strategic account management and new business development across private and public sector accounts within the southern region


• Selling across all service lines - BPO, ITO, Professional & Managed Services, Cloud & AI


• Developing, nurturing and growing senior IT, Finance and C level business relationships


• Working internally with Practice Managers, Service Delivery, Presales and Consulting teams and externally with tier 1 global vendor partners


• Development of detailed account plans - SPIN, TAS, Miller Heiman etc

You will demonstrate:


• A background selling complex IT outsourcing and managed services contracts to include outsourced/managed Service Desk and Field Service Solutions


• Proven success in signing deals into the multiple millions of dollars within the Public Sector - State Government


• A demonstrated history of sales success - meeting and exceeding targets over a sustained period of time


• Executive level credibility - contacts and experience of negotiating at C levels


• Outstanding communication and presentation skills


• Superior negotiation and stakeholder management skills
