Overview

As a civilian General Practitioner working with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), you will provide essential medical care and support to ADF Members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert primary medical care to ADF personnel in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Deliver patient-centred, holistic care alongside a multidisciplinary team
  • Assess fitness for duty and support health before and after deployments
  • Offer critical medical advice to Joint Health Command leadership
  • Ensure Defence personnel receive top-tier care wherever they are stationed

Qualifications
  • Australian Citizenship (required for Baseline Security Clearance)
  • General registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP), ACRRM (FACRRM), or Vocational Registration
  • At least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years (GPT Registrar rotations counted)
  • Recent CPD participation aligned with AHPRA requirements
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
