The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?

This is a new role in our payments team, offering you the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end capabilities, providing seamless payment services to our customers via various payment infrastructures, from bank transfers to card networks.

We expect you to be passionate about highly scalable, fault-tolerant, globally distributed systems. Our systems are built on a microservices, event-driven architecture using Google Cloud.

You should be comfortable with high levels of autonomy and committed to delivering excellent outcomes for TRAILD and its customers.

We prioritize our customers in our product development, continuously enhancing our software based on their feedback to help them run their businesses more effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of highly scalable, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Develop and execute both short and long-term roadmaps, making effective trade-offs considering business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations.
  • Drive projects from idea to implementation across our global infrastructure and customer base.
  • Collaborate with product managers, finance/revenue teams, and other engineering teams to build impactful features and products for our customers.
Who You Are
  • 8+ years of experience in hands-on technical roles, with a strong background in software engineering and architecture design.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to understand both the domain and complex customer needs deeply.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment and continuously honing your skills.
  • Experience with dotnet core & C# in a cloud-native environment or with other modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, C#).
  • Strong collaborator with a growth mindset, hands-on approach, adaptability, and a scale-up spirit.
  • Nice to have: direct experience in fintech, especially in B2B payments within the US and EMEA regions.
The Perks of Working at TRAILD
  • Flexible working options: remote, hybrid, and flexible schedules.
  • Global team presence across APAC, NA, and EMEA.
  • Limitless ownership and career growth opportunities in this early-stage, high-growth company.
  • Our team loves working here: scored 78 on our 2025 eNPS survey.
