We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on children's learning and development within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.

  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and daily routines.

  • Promote a positive and nurturing learning environment.

  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.

  • Help monitor and record pupil progress as directed by the teacher.

  • Supervise pupils during break times, educational visits, and school activities as needed.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.

  • A kind, patient, and flexible approach to supporting pupils.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.

  • A strong understanding of child development and learning.

  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
