Pump Fitter - Full Time - Perth City, Australia

We are looking for a/an Pump Fitter to join our Services_EAPA team in Australia .

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Assisting tradespeople in the repair and manufacture of components for rotating equipment
  • Assembly and disassembly of pumps, electric motors, generators, and other rotating machinery
  • General machining of components to precise tolerances
  • Balancing rotating equipment
  • Refurbishing commutators (machining and undercutting)
  • Fabricating components
  • Onsite repairs of rotating equipment
  • Attending all theoretical sections of the apprenticeship and updating E-Profiling
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with rotating equipment, especially pumps
  • Experience with electrical rotating machinery is highly desirable
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
