OSHC Educators are recruited on a casual basis to join the YMCA Churchill Outside School Hours Care service. The YMCA provides fun, stimulating and safe care for primary and secondary school children before and after school, including school holidays. Children participate in activities such as cooking, sport, music, art and dance.

Role As an OSHC Educator you are responsible for the care of children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. You'll assist in running engaging, educational activities with primary school children, such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting and musical activities.

Responsibilities

What's a good match?
  • Currently studying or have completed a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor degree in children's services or a related field
  • Sense of fun and strong imagination
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
