Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications for I&E Technicians to join our APLNG project team. These full-time roles are based onsite on a BIBO arrangement from Brisbane, working an 18 days on, 10 days off roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Gas gathering wellsite low voltage and instrument pre-commissioning and SAT, including LV, UPS, and battery testing; telemetry systems; WiMAX, LTE, and fibre optic communications network testing; VSD configuration and testing; pre-commissioning and SAT of all site equipment; fault finding and rectification.
  • Ensuring compliance with hazardous area installation standards.
  • Assisting the electrical construction team when required.
  • Completing all required quality documentation on the client's electronic systems, including FICs, ITRs, as-builts, reports, and punch lists.
Minimum Requirements:
  • QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue, and CPR certifications (essential).
  • Certificate III or IV in instrumentation (Certificate III highly regarded).
  • Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas (EEHA).
  • At least 5 years of post-trade experience in a large-scale oil & gas environment.
  • Current QLD driver's license.
  • Understanding and commitment to OH&S, risk management, and hazard identification.
