WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ampcontrol is seeking a new team member to join their High Voltage Field Service crew based in Sydney, NSW. You will play a pivotal role in HV statutory testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team. Your high standards and teamwork will be key, along with:

  • A committed attitude to safety; safety is at the heart of our business
  • 5+ years experience with HV & LV electrical switchgear and systems
  • Exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities
  • Experience with HV switchyard and substation maintenance, minor works & upgrades
  • Experience with HV cable terminating, jointing, repairs & testing
  • Protection equipment experience (desirable)
  • Service experience in electrical trades/technical roles
  • Exceptional client and customer service skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments
  • Quick learner with ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel regularly
EDUCATION
  • Electrical trade qualifications
  • HV Switching certificate – desirable, not essential
