We are looking for a Chef and Cook to join our friendly kitchen team at Hancookkwan in Willetton, WA.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Capable of following instructions and multi-tasking effectively under pressure
• Take pride in your work
• Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Roster labour to meet the kitchen's labour cost targets
• Efficiently rotate stocks and minimize wastage
• Contribute creative ideas for new menu items
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Motivate staff
• Perform menu costing
• Cook dishes according to company standards
• Monitor food portions according to standards
• Participate in meetings with managers and directors
• Report to the Managing Director

Skills and experience:

• Hold a trade certificate in commercial cookery
• At least two years of work experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen is ideal but not essential
• Strong work ethic, cleanliness, organization, and meticulousness
• Ability to accept accountability and provide clear leadership and communication

Job type: Full-time

Salary: $76,515 - $77,000 per year

• Must have a Police Clearance
• Trustworthy, reliable, and positive attitude
• Available to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
