With 4 exciting opportunities available across different venues within the Club, this is a great chance to learn various cuisines.

• Rooftop bar with a Mediterranean-inspired menu based around sharing food, including small plates/tapas, large plates, and platters. All food is made onsite from scratch, including desserts. Learn woodfire cooking as well as traditional methods. The Rooftop bar offers an exciting environment with house DJs.
• LA PIAZZA - A large Italian restaurant offering hand-stretched pizza, pasta, and seafood. A great opportunity to learn in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
• MARROW & Co - A top-tier, newest venue, a classic Manhattan-style steakhouse with onsite dry aging and 14 different cuts on the menu. Everything is made in-house, including desserts and charcuterie items. Learn traditional European styles including beef tartare, cheese souffle, crème brûlée, beef Wellington, chicken liver parfait, etc.
• GREENFIELD BISTRO - A classic bistro with a good mix of Western and Asian cuisine. Offers a variety of house-made products, weekly specials, and buffet breakfast.

What's involved:

As an Apprentice Chef, you will be employed by HTN and hosted at our partner venues, learning from qualified chefs in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Working with us allows you to gain experience from skilled professionals within a commercial kitchen environment and learn different cuisines to become a quality chef. You will be working at one of our great host venues, handling large quantities of food and seasonal ingredients. Key activities include:

• Food Preparation - Assisting with tasks like chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and measuring ingredients
• Cooking - Following recipes and directions to prepare a variety of dishes, including meats, fish, vegetables, and desserts
• Kitchen Maintenance - Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
• Food Safety - Ensuring food safety regulations and hygiene standards are maintained
• Learning and Development - Completing required training modules and actively seeking guidance from chefs
• Teamwork - Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality output

To succeed in this role, you should be eager, motivated, and passionate about food. Good communication skills, a proactive attitude to learning, and initiative in your duties are essential.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship in NSW, you must be either:

• Australian Citizen
• Australian Permanent Resident
• New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months
