The Department

Alfred Hospital's Radiology Department is one of Melbourne's leading tertiary teaching and trauma hospitals. The department values education and professional development and utilises modern technologies across all modalities to image challenging patients.

The Role

Your role involves assisting qualified Radiographers in providing optimal radiographic examinations, ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in accordance with established radiographic practices, ethics, and the code of conduct.

Staff will rotate through Inpatients, Outpatients, Theatre, Emergency & Trauma to support radiographers in their duties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
  • Working towards registration with AHPRA as a Medical Imaging Technologist
  • Good communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
