We are hiring an ITSM/SIAM Specialist Service Manager for Canberra for a Federal Agency.

About the Role

Duration: 12 months + 24 months extension

Baseline security clearance required.

The IT Service Management (ITSM) & Service Integration and Management (SIAM) Specialist will join the IT Operations Management section, responsible for overseeing the department's IT operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of ITSM & SIAM, managing and supporting the department in improving and maintaining their ITSM maturity, as well as supporting the operational transition to a SIAM model.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support the development, transition, and daily operations of ITSM and SIAM processes, engaging with colleagues, internal/external suppliers, and key business stakeholders.
  2. Assist with ITSM documentation management within the Operations Management team, implementing and improving policies & processes, and proactively identifying enhancements.
  3. Work under general and limited direction as the SME for all ITSM/SIAM activities, providing advice and guidance to the director and broader team.
  4. Support the adoption of SIAM & ITSM policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance across service providers.
  5. Collaborate with the division(s) and department to establish and implement ITSM & SIAM services.
