Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Physiotherapist (Plastics) role at North Metropolitan Health Service.

This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 38 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities
  • This position assesses patients and provides appropriate treatments for routine and complex cases for patients admitted under the Plastics and ENT services, including neck and groin dissection, tracheostomy/laryngectomy, cochlear and labyrinthine surgery, skin grafting and flaps, and breast reconstruction; maintains close clinical liaison between inpatients and general outpatient services.

Eligibility and Compliance
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for permanent positions in the public sector.

  • WA Health policies require a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. A working with children check and a pre-employment health assessment may also be required. Referees may be contacted to comment on integrity and ethical behaviour.
