About the Roles

gforce is currently seeking Arborists to assist with the maintenance of trees and other woody plants, with numerous long-term and short-term positions available, with a local government organisation in Ballarat.

What's in it for you?

• $43-44ph
• Full-time hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm
• A 12-month temporary position with potential for ongoing work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Trimming branches and pruning trees
• Repair, cable, fertilize and water trees
• Removing dead or unwanted trees
• Identifying and treating diseased trees
• Chainsaw/power tools operation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Chainsaw ticket and experience essential
• EWP licence an advantage
• Arborist or horticulture qualifications an advantage
• Current drivers' licence essential
• MR truck licence an advantage
• Physically fit for labouring duties
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions
• Safety conscious
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen and police check
• Have PPE including steel cap boots, hi viz long-sleeved shirt and chainsaw climbing pants
