Our Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is in search of dedicated individuals to join our welcoming and supportive Central Sterile Department (CSD) team.

This is a permanent part-time position requiring 64 hours per fortnight. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in the reprocessing of reusable medical devices, including tasks like decontamination, packing sterilisation, dispatch, logistics, and when necessary, transportation.

The CSD services extend to 4 external sites, plus in-house operations, offering work across a total of 5 sites. This position may require driving a van and unloading medical instruments.

Shifts will be scheduled on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, covering 5 shifts per week or 10 shifts per fortnight.

To excel in this role, you should possess a positive disposition with a "can-do" attitude. Your outstanding communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary setting are imperative for this position. Additionally, you should demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to function effectively as part of a high-achieving team
  • A strong work ethic encompassing punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and a dedication to upholding Ramsay's core values
  • Valid QLD drivers' license
Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
