We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with strong technical capabilities, looking for an opportunity to continue to grow and develop both technical and non-technical skills.

You have commenced your CA or CPA qualification, with a few years of experience in public practice. You thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and will have demonstrated capability to:

Prepare complex Tax Returns & Financial Reports for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Individuals
Manage delegated jobs within given timeframes under the direction of the Team Manager & Client Director
Handle client queries via email and phone with sound communication
Take initiative in the delivery of jobs to timeframes and in budget

Responsibilities

Prepare complex Tax Returns and Financial Statements for a range of entities
Manage and deliver assigned work within agreed timeframes
Communicate with clients to resolve queries and provide updates
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and budget targets

Qualifications & Skills

Degree-qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a public practice
Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage timeframes and communicate clearly
Proficient in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial Statements
Strong knowledge of Tax & GST legislation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage your time and work independently
Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
Commenced CA or CPA studies
