A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced credit and portfolio management professional to join a leading Project Finance team based in Sydney. This role offers end-to-end exposure to some of the most significant infrastructure and energy transactions in the market, working within a globally connected institution with strong deal flow and long-term client relationships.

The Role

You will be responsible for the proactive management of a diverse portfolio of project finance transactions. Your remit will include:

  • Ongoing credit analysis, covenant monitoring and cash flow modelling
  • Preparing and presenting credit submissions for amendments, waivers, and refinancings
  • Regular portfolio reporting to senior stakeholders, including risk and audit teams
  • Supporting restructuring discussions and managing problem loan scenarios
  • Assisting with new transactions, including due diligence, structuring input and documentation review
  • Engaging with clients, sponsors, agent banks, and internal teams both locally and offshore

About You

We're seeking a commercially minded credit professional with:

  • At least 8 years of experience in project finance, credit, or corporate banking
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling capability, with exposure to complex infrastructure or energy assets
  • Proven ability to manage credit risk, prepare detailed submissions, and interact with credit committees
  • A solid understanding of credit policies, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
