About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at the ADFCC in Canberra. Reporting to the Team Lead Nurse Officer of NSW/ACT, you will be responsible for delivering professional and efficient medical screening services, ensuring a high standard of care and service to both internal staff and external clients.

DUTIES

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Conducting medical screening assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation of all screening activities
• Provide smooth and timely candidate flow through screening and treatment services
• Audiometry testing
• Spirometry testing
• General administration duties
  
  

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be well organised and have great administration skills with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills together with the following:

• An 'eye' for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to all staff and clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using electronic medical records and ICT systems
• Previous medical/clinical experience
• A current Working with Children Check
• Australian Citizenship (mandatory for AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance)
