The Fund Analyst is responsible for supporting the Fund Manager to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of fund analytics and reporting. The Fund Analyst develops and manages fund models, conducts financial analysis, and monitors and reports performance against the fund strategy and operating plan budget.

Sitting within the Mandates Business, this role provides critical support to the Fund Manager and informs decision-making through financial analysis and modeling.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide financial analysis support for developing the fund strategy, capital plan, assets operating plan, KPIs, and budget.
  • Analyze Equity and Debt cash flows and Investor total returns (IRR), including modeling external debt financing.
  • Cascade the fund strategy and KPIs to ensure alignment with asset strategies and plans.
  • Liaise with Finance and Treasury teams to manage the Fund's capital plan and cash flow on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Support Asset Management with developing asset strategies and plans, including leasing and major capex projects, ensuring alignment with fund strategy, operating plan, KPIs, and budget.
  • Manage fund models, conduct financial analysis, and monitor/report performance against strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly fund/investor reports.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for the Fund Manager.
  • Contribute to internal and external valuation processes for the fund.

The skills you'll need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Business, or Real Estate.
  • Experience in debt/equity cash flow analysis, performance calculations, and valuation.
  • Experience in cash flow management, budgeting models, and working with complex databases or quantitative tools.
  • Knowledge of Forbury, MRI, or other real estate property models is highly advantageous.
