Your key responsibilities within this role:
- Review ICT solution proposals, provide guidance and assistance to ensure security architecture principles are incorporated, appropriate, and meet ISM requirements.
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing guidance and advice to achieve security outcomes.
- Conduct security risk assessments relating to IT solution designs and proposed solutions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to the IT environment, providing appropriate treatments to reduce risks in line with government regulations and industry standard processes.
- Ensure best practice security architectural methodology is continually being developed, refined, and implemented.
- Develop and maintain architecture patterns, templates, and processes to standardise related artifacts, review and approval processes within the broader security framework.
- Support security Certification, Accreditation, and ensure critical deliverables are delivered to the required standard.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure a coordinated approach to security.
It starts with you
- Australian citizen as the role requires clearance with AGSVA baseline, with a view of attaining NV1.
- TOGAF and/or SABSA qualifications highly regarded.
- Degree or equivalent experience qualified specialising in Cyber Security / Information Security disciplines.
- Extensive experience working as a Cyber Security Architect.
- Prior experience within a federal government or large complex organisation highly regarded.
