Overview

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to join our Essendon team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for all children. Onsite childcare at Austin Hospital, easy access via public transport and car parking options.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Support the physical care and emotional wellbeing of all children
  • Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children
  • Assist in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
Qualifications
  • An ACECQA recognised qualification – e.g. working towards, certificate III, diploma or higher
  • An approved Working with Children Check (State specific)
  • Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
Requirements
  • Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
  • In accordance with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, health care workers in Category A or B roles
