Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to work in our Melbourne Depot on Nightshift. The position will be offered on a full-time basis and will report directly to the Nightshift Manager.

Roster available:
  • Thursday to Sunday
  • 6pm to 4am
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Local delivery and pick-up load planning
  • Driver/vehicle allocations
  • Monitoring local drivers
  • Monitoring inbound linehaul drivers
  • Dispatch linehaul drivers
  • Assisting with phone queries and customer service
  • Checking paperwork
The candidate we are looking for will have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in leading and developing a team
  • Experience with fatigue and mass requirements
  • Produce knowledge and experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR) legislation
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Solid PC skills
  • Ability to manage strict deadlines and competing objectives
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure role
  • Attention to detail
  • Available to work nightshift and some weekends
