Mechanical Construction Engineer

Looking for multiple engineers or construction-related candidates with a strong HVAC background to work as Application Engineers or Project Engineers, collaborating directly with the Sales and Estimating teams.
This position is highly technical and requires excellent communication skills, as you will work directly with customers. Please note, this role does NOT include design work
Responsibilities:- Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing, write technical proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors to clarify project details for sales engineers, application engineers, and project administrators.
- Have experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or be willing to learn.
- Be familiar with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and/or temperature control systems.
- Prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns, evaluating equipment savings and costs.
- Assemble bid files, including all development information, in the customer relationship management (CRM) system to prepare estimates.
- Be responsible for the cost estimation of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
