Overview

Personal Care Assistant - Macquarie Care Centre Bathurst at Catholic Healthcare

Location: Bathurst, NSW

Permanent part-time positions (afternoon shifts across the week). Pay rate: $35.05 per hour + superannuation. Not-for-profit employer, with associated tax benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
  • Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure residents' health and wellbeing are optimised
  • Providing high quality service to families and the community
Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
