Field Services Deployment Specialist

Location: Sydney

An opportunity exists for a Service Delivery Coordinator to join Boral's broader IT Team. Reporting to the Field Services Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Boral's technology and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to end-users, troubleshooting I.T. hardware at sites, software issues, and maintaining IT systems in optimal condition. This project-based role has a main focus currently on a company-wide project involving the roll out of new laptops and desktops across 360 sites and 3200 Boral users, coordinating the roll out with vendor and sites.

Your day will involve:

  1. Coordination of the laptop/desktop refresh project with vendors and Boral sites, reporting on progress.
  2. Coordination of site commission/upgrade/decommission activities including office fit-out.
  3. Coordination of telco field mobilisation (new devices, fix existing devices).
  4. Management of meeting room facilities including gaining quotes for new equipment as per site requirements.
  5. Vendor management and liaison.

What are we looking for?

  1. Tertiary qualifications in IT or Technology.
  2. Project management skills with strong coordination abilities.
  3. Troubleshooting and application or network support background.
  4. Strong knowledge of the IT network infrastructure across a large business.
  5. Customer focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Experience with Microsoft 365 and proficient with MS Excel.
