About the roleWe are seeking to engage the services of a highly motivated Transport Engineer with strong traffic and transport engineering, transport planning and organisational skills to help investigate and resolve transportation and parking requests and respond to customer enquiries on transport matters.
As a Transport Engineer, you will:
- arrange and undertake site inspections to verify information;
- maintain traffic, transport planning, road safety and parking request records;
- provide updates to the Team Leader Transport Safety and Operations on the status of the projects and any issues with traffic and transport matters;
- contribute to the success of the Transport Unit through active teamwork and effective performance of the responsibilities and duties of the position.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, which would qualify the applicant for Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia or relevant experience.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Experience in the operation of Traffic and Civil Design computer software (SIDRA, AutoCAD and Civilcad) is desirable.
