Max&You is a creatively driven and innovative Melbourne-based communications agency specialising in brand, digital marketing, public relations, film and shoot production, and graphic and animation services for a premium client base. We excel in high-end luxury design, interiors, architecture, and property markets, working with renowned international and Australian brands.

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Assistant to join our team and contribute to managing and growing our client's online presence. This role is ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, loves social media and eager to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage social media content calendars to ensure timely and strategic posting using tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Oversee community management by maintaining consistent branding, engaging with followers through comments and messages, and fostering audience growth through strategic interactions.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Handle copywriting by creating compelling, on-brand content tailored to each client's voice and objectives.
  • Create visually appealing posts, stories, reels, and feeds that reflect each client's unique aesthetic and brand strategy.
  • Edit videos for Instagram Reels, Stories, and other platforms to align with current trends and client preferences.
  • Research trends, hashtags, and competitor strategies to keep clients ahead in their industries.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Assist with client presentations and brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses (agency experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Video editing experience with tools like CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere.
  • Strong eye for visually appealing Instagram aesthetics and impactful image curation.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and a strong understanding of brand tone of voice.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report on social media metrics effectively.
