Girton Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to inspire and challenge students to improve their skills and understanding of Science.

Your role will be to create, design, develop, and deliver curriculum that is challenging, educational, inclusive, enjoyable, and encourages optimal outcomes.

  • Part-time or full-time options available (0.80 to 1.00 FTE)
  • Fixed-term parental leave position from January 2026 through November 2026.

  • Appropriate qualification and current registration as a teacher,
  • A passion for and demonstrated curriculum knowledge of applicable subject areas,
  • Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs,
  • A commitment to professional development,
  • Excellent personal communication, administrative, and organisational skills,
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, including children with diverse needs and backgrounds,
  • Strong skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), especially as they relate to teaching and learning,
  • Commitment to co-curricular activities.
