Residential Youth Worker

Join to apply for the Residential Youth Worker - Disability role at Endeavour Foundation. This permanent part-time position supports young people with disability in Inala and Calamvale, helping them develop life skills, confidence, and community connections. Responsibilities include personal care, medications, medical appointments, emotional and behavioural support, and assisting with everyday living needs.
Responsibilities- Support individuals in building essential life skills and independence.
- Provide person-centred, trauma-informed care in collaboration with the Case Manager.
- Assist with daily living needs, appointments, family visits, and community connections.
- Support education and transition planning as youth move toward adulthood.
- Experience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills to support youth transitioning into adulthood.
- Minimum Certificate 4 (or studying) in a related discipline; preference for Youth Work and human services qualifications.
- Previous experience as a Youth Worker in a disability context with trauma-informed care is highly regarded.
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver's License with comprehensive vehicle insurance; willingness to obtain required checks.
- Minimum 2 sleepovers per week.
- Shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends:
- Mornings: 6:30am – 9:00am; 7:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoons: 2:30pm – 5:00pm; 2:30pm – 9:00pm; 2:00pm – 9:00pm
- Sleepovers: 5:00pm – 9:00am
